Mark your Calendars! The Second Annual Veterans Music Festival at JV’s Restaurant and Live Music Room! Come show your support for ORHF at our Veteran’s music festival featuring the area’s best bands.

Join us at the iconic JV’s Restaurant, the area’s best live music room since 1947 between 4:00 pm and 12:00 am midnight. JV’s Restaurant is located at: 6666 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, Virginia 22042

Festival Lineup:

Award-winning Wicked Jezabel, founded in the Washington DC area, has been proudly serving the Mid-Atlantic area since 2004. Wicked Jezabel dynamically delivers hits from the 60’s dance-able Motown era, 70’s Disco & classic rock mix, the wicked 80’s, to the grun​gy/techno 90’s with a “tad” of today. Awards and acknowledgments: two Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) awards and The BEST of Gay DC 2013 and runner up, 2014 by The Washington Blade. Wicked Jezabel proudly and regularly donates a percentage of income to local, national and international animal rescues, as well as other important humanitarian issues!

Pitches Be Crazy Vocal Band
PBC Vocal Band is a 5 person ALL VOCAL (a cappella) cover band that is known for remixing and mashing-up R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, Funk, Disco and Soul hits of the last 5 decades. All 5 members of PBC are connected to the military in one way or another (retiree, prior service, or prior dependent of a military member. One member is a purple heart recipient, and works as a veterans advocate for the VFW.

Cathy B & The Broadcasters
With members who have experience that spans the decades, CBB provides a synthesis of genres spanning 70s rock, 80s/90s country, modern roots rock, and popular music.

David Kitchen Band (Headliner)
Catchy Indie Roots Rock with a new take on classic sounds. David Kitchen is a prolific singer-songwriter and guitarist from Virginia who’s been active in the mid-Atlantic music scene for the last 20 years. A true master of many styles, his contributions have been recognized by The Washington Area Music Association including the award for Songwriter of the Year in 2006 and Pop Vocalist of 2009.

The Rockits
POP, Funk, Rock, Country, Motown, Disco, R’nB and Soul, and good time Rock ‘n Roll!

Vintage#18
High-energy show with hard-driving blues rhythms and soul grooves that will move you. The sound reflects their love of traditional blues and soul but also the desire to bring it current for new audiences.

Whiskey Wildfire
Covering musical stylings ranging from Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean to Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift, Whiskey Wildfire play current country radio hits that are sure to become classics.

Donations will be accepted at the door. All donations collected will benefit Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing quality housing and supportive services to our Nation’s homeless Veterans.
